    I like the pictures of the Silverstone meet in 2012, it was a great day although we were limited to 30mph on the track - very sensible but my goodness it required restraint, we were all itching to open up! In the top picture there are two F40s with their lights on, one near the front and one near the back. The idiot at the back is me :)

    Per the article, it's nothing we don't already know about the F40. I do however feel the author's remark about the F50 is lazy. Joe's already correctly pointed out the analogue slip.

    As someone who is fortunate to own (and drive!) both, the F50 is a superb car. It's not a sad alternative to the F40. Quite the opposite. The F50 is stunning to drive, the sound of its V12 above 6500 rpm is beyond epic and with its hard top on, I think the F50 looks spectacular. Mark my words as the years pass the F50 will easily sit alongside the F40. The two are very different expressions of automotive creativity of the highest order, that's why I can easily jump from one to the other and massively enjoy both for what they do differently.
