They are in! AND ... the car went from being a beast to GODZILLA! What a difference. There is definately more throttle response (or maybe I think there is because of the sound). Either way I FEEL like I'm going faster! :)

There were so many possible confirgurations - leave the cats and go with the straight pipes, go with bypass pipes and leave the stock muffler, go with bypass pipes and straight pipes, or go with bypass pipes and a Tubi. I finally decided that the Tubi would likely yield the best (most harmonious) sound and with the bypass pipes that sound would be twice as loud.

Not knowing what the other configurations would have sounded like it's hard to make a comparison but it's hard to beleive that they could sound better than this setup. It makes all the right noises at the right time. It sounds like a jet engine under acceleration. When it makes maximum boost the blow off valve is 3x as loud. It gurgles and pops when you let off the gas.

In the end ... there's no choice but to GRIN! :)

Is it wrong that I want to make sweet love with a car? Does it feel dirty when I undress it with my eyes? A great car gets better. Enjoy!

Nice, straight pipes are always the right choice with a turbo car! You could have easily picked up 30 RWHP by losing the cats!!
