do you think this has a problem with cooling, or did all F40LM's have this many NACA ducts on its flanks?...

That's a GTE based on the front splitter, fender/hood vents, and rear wing.

Yes and no. The GTE picture I posted (as well as yours) is the GTE Evo. Here's an earlier GTE that looks closer to the LM. The visual difference between the LM you can see are vents just forward of the side mirrors on the hood and a different front splitter that the GTE has. The wheels are also different. http://www.ferraris-online.com/pages/carintro.php?reqcardir=FE-F40-85015

Edit: Here's a GTE Evo that has been sold for a while now: http://www.ferraris-online.com/pages/carintro.php?reqcardir=FE-F40-84503

This is NOT a genuine Michelotto built F40 LM or GT or GTE. It has nothing to do with a Michelotto-built F40. The S/N of this car is 91979, it is ex-Von Huttenbach, Germany. This was a normal road F40 which later on was heavily customised in Germany. Photo was taken at the Nürburgring on Sunday 3 September 2006.

Is it the same type of mirror that was just mounted up higher?

Good eye. I just checked all the photos I have of the other GTE chassis and they're all the same. Odd

Marcel, do you know which serial number that GTE is that I posted? Of course assuming that it's really is a GTE unlike the first photo in the thread.
