Not sure, I think they were an option on Euro F40s

Maybe it was the F40LM seat also ??

I was just thinking the same thing... is "repristinated" even a word? I don't think so... For $6200, the least they could do is use their "big boy words"

I haven't the slightest idea, you might hit up Chris Parr, I know he went through a couple of different sets on his F40... I think even a Euro set, so I bed he'd know - if no one else does...

if one installs these seats, one must also change the entire seatbelt group. Someone had converted the seat in my F40 to something similar, and installed Stabilts on the driver's side. I have since found an original proper USA driver's seat, but have not found the factory seatbelts. Anyone know where I can get a set for the driver's side? Thanks.

The seats pictured did not come from Ferrari, they may fit, but they not come from Ferrari. The factory seats did not have any logo on the upholstery, I have covered this before. (the seat shell looks like it might have been from a splash of the factory seats but the carbon fiber work is not of the same quality)

The correct factory seats are available from the factory by special order and the price is about what this guy is asking. The problem is the euro seats (they are incorrectly referred to as "LM" seats) actually sit HIGHER than US seats, at 5'11" I had an issue with euro seats and actually found the US seats to be a better fit. (wearing a helmet was very difficult) My US seats were actually modified to allow for 4-point belts to run through them.

Most F40 owners do not run the cars that hard or they think they are but rarely get 50% out of the performance so US belts are probably ok for most owners.

However, there are some VERY strong drivers on here, William is one of them and I doubt he is comfortable with anything less than a 4 or 5-point belts, running proper seat belts, not the fit or looks of the seats is the proper motivation for installing euro seats but they are going to fit best if you are less than 5'9".

For an F40 owner wanting euro seats, contact Ferrari and just order them, if you know the right people, they are available.

Cochi, while the seats are available, the factory euro bely assemblies, to the best of my knowledge are unobtanium...

Sorry, I was in a hurry and did not check my spelling!

I do not believe the seat belt assemblies are available, I tried without success to get them several years ago...

If ever I can help, let me know.

    Chris Parr

(William, it is possible that these are older factory seat shells with new covers, I have seen these logos before on seats represented to be F40 seats before but they did not come from Ferrari, and yes you need at least a large seat as like most things Italian, they run small!)

Those are the same seats that 410SA has in his F40.

They are the same and they fit me perfectly in the car. I am 5'10" I have about an inch of clearance wearing a helmet, but I have also removed the roof liner and installed an X brace. The seats and stand 21 belts are excellent for track use. The F40 can manifest rather sudden and alarmimg direction changes, usually rear end first if you're not fully committed to the corner, so the 5 point belts are essential :)

Thanks Chris, who should I speak to at F ?

Will you be at Monterey or the Annual Meet at Watkins ?

I just want more comfortable seats w holes for the shoulder harness, I usually take the silver 512TR when I really want to fly at the track
