Hey guys, I've been taking my 2006 F1 Spider--which I purchased just over a year ago--to the track on a regular basis. The car came with new Goodyear F1's and they're now worn out. Which is good, as they were pretty awful. At any rate, I'm surprised at how much this car understeers compared to previous cars that I tracked, which included an E90 M3 and a Honda S2000. Because of this, I was considering 235/35 19 tires for the car (Bridgestone RE71R's, for what it's worth). However, the minimum wheel width for this size of tires is 8". I know people have been running 235's on the car; however, it isn't obvious how many people have used the OEM wheels. What's experience with this combo? Are there any problems with getting installers to actually installing this tire size? Thanks, in advance, for your help!

Excellent; thanks for the reply! Yes, I've been checking around some more, including with installers, and there don't seem to be any concerns with this combo. Of course, now I found out that the 235/35 RE71R is back ordered everywhere until January. Sigh.
