wish there was a GPS to confirm the speed. Speedos are always off a little (especially at that speed).

    Wow... that was fast.

I did check GPS vs. F430 speedo readings on my car and the car is definitely off.

At 100MPH on the speedo, GPS said I was doing around 90. The delta decreases as I go slower (Speedo says 70, GPS says 65). I'm not sure if the error increases as you go faster... but it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that at 200MPH the car could be doing really going 180.

Regardless, that guy was hauling a$$.

The burn-outs were cool too. Nice to see some good 'ol American iron being put to good use overseas. That Malibu certainly had a big cam in it.

Thanks all for your good comments it's nice to read these from you
We raced today an e60 M5 with superchips e.c.u upgrade and supersprint cat back exhaust. The bimmer guy was very insistent for launcing minimum at 100mph so i can not say it was a good one although i'll share videos of the last exotics race of 2008 at Adana / Turkey :)
    Regards
