    Good evening everyone
My name is Josh and I am new to Ferrari Chat and a prospective Ferrari owner. I am considering the F430 and the 458. I am comparing the maintenance costs between the two and my question is; can anyone here give me some insight as to what aftermarket fluids you are putting in your F430?? Such as PS, coolant, brake fluid, and diff and trans fluid. I ask because I have searched many forums and everyone seems to have their own preference as to what they use and I understand the factory Shell products can be hard to find.

Thank you guys for your help!!!!!

Redline. I believe their site can help with applications. However, try to stick with OEM in a Ferrari when possible.

Thank you question has come up many many times .. if you do a search on forum or better yet on Google with ferrarichat as part of search ..e.g. power steering f430 ferrarichat you will see there are many thoughts on which fluid to use .. especially in engine and more so for transmission

There is even debates that Ferrari oem fluids are not always the best ..

Do a search and see if that helps

I can tell you my preference but you will see all my research ( on transaxke and some others ) as you search

And believe me when I say "Oil is debated to the end and back". The threads on fluids go on for 100's of posts.

Fluid prices are not going to be your biggest cost if you buy into this expensive addiction
