Can anyone help me locate the "Ambient Air Temperature" Sensor on an '06 430 please? The one that is part of the fuel control system.
    Thanks,

Driver's (L/H) door mirror. It's that little black button sticking out at the bottom of the mirror

I have a feeling that the sensor on the wing mirror has more to do with Air Con than fuel / combustion.

I suspect there's probably another one in the inlet system somewhere.

    Anyone?

Lessons Learned Feedback; YES the ambitent Air Temp Sensor under the Driver Side Mirror is for BOTH the A/C System and the OBD II.

What I found was an intermittent fuse for the a/c control (10A behind drivers seat) and when the a/c is out, it also triggers the Check Engine light.

    Fix fuse.....fix both.
