Does anyone out there have an OEM Ferrari charger for their F430 (the kind that plugs directly into the car at the glove box). If so can you please confirm the correct part number, I believe it is either 241504 or 260121 ?

    Thanks

I don't have mine handy, but I know mine was a replacement according to the dealer. Apparently the original ones were either undersized or defective, as my dealer said they were warranty replaced with a higher amperage model.

You can buy the 5 amp Ctek at great cost or just get a charger/ maintainer off e bay. You can get an adaptor lead to plug it into the car special plug on e bay as well. The ctek is no better than others but overpriced

Yes and no, for AGM batteries than have a slightly higher voltage, the Ctek will support them while cheaper options will not...I personally use a Ctek with a standard adapter, with a voltage indicator light

Then perhaps both part numbers are correct, the first being the original OEM unit and the latter being the OEM upgraded unit. Notwithstanding the solid advice regarding CTEK equivalents, I would prefer to have the Ferrari branded (CTEK) charger.

So, does anyone have the OEM part number ?

231504 is an old part number, no longer available. 70002821 is the one and only part number for the part that you can still buy new. Case closed.

    Case re-opened.

I am trying, as per the original post, to identify which of all the OEM units listed for sale will be compatible with an F430 and its built in plug.

I am not trying to upset anyone or ignore any advice. I apologise if it seemed that way.
