    Yeah, so by "modern" I meant just the 458/California. FF probably doesn't spit flames either. Too civilized.

    I can confirm that my stock 07 430 will shoot flames
    On high rpm downshifts. My friends say it looks awesome!

    Not sure on upshifts.... No one can ever keep up to report to me what they saw! :)

    So if blue flames are from fuel burning in the exhaust, then why do some cars shoot orange flames?

    Is it actual fuel that has goten past the cats or is it ionized gas/plasma from the high temps in the exhaust flow. I would think the cats would burn off any unburned hydrocarbons before the muffler
