So I recently purchased a 2005 f430 with steel brakes. When I purchased it, I knew it was going to need brakes on all 4 corners. After searching around for parts, I found that the PN for an f430 brake rotor (213484) led me to rotors that are about $375 a piece. After a little searching, I found that the 360 brake rotor (182606) is about $190 per corner and that the generic Brembo 182606-Bre is about $88 a piece. The only difference between the $190 360 labeled Brembo and the $88 generic one appears to be that the rotor hat and vanes are already painted to prevent corrosion.

I couldn't find any definitive information about whether or not the f430 ones are the same as the 360. If they are, then the $88 ones should be essentially the same part minus the roughly $300 in mark up. There are some sites that actually sell the 182606-Bre as either 360 or f430 replacements so I decided to take a gamble on them and bought 4 of the 182606-BRE rotors for my f430. I am now convinced that they are the same exact part as the 213484's, minus the paint. The measurements are spot on; 330 mm across and 28 mm wide.

Here are the measurements for the disks

I taped off the disc and painted the hat with grey caliper paint.

I also used Brembo pads sourced from AW Italian for the front and rear. The front pads were about $195, and the rear was about $190. I inspected the retaining pins and springs and they all seemed fine, so they were reused.

Anyway, just thought I would drop this in here in case anyone else was wondering about fitment. The $88 rotors are the exact same size as the $380 rotors.

Superperformance in the uk do the discs for about £75 each and you can get a good selection of different grade pads from EBC brakes from the uk. I think EBC also has a US depot.

I have used several sets of these Brembo discs on my 360s with no problems.
However, I do not paint the contact surface with the wheel.

I have a set of the brembo rotors you have pictured that I got from eurospares for my 360 fronts. I was a little surprised how inexpensive they were. I will fit them in the next two weeks but they look right just on casual review.

No reason to mask off the surface. Will wear the first time you apply brakes or you can wipe with enamel reducer or lacquer thinner. Also I believe the Ferrari ones are painted on the rotor surface.

You don't want to know how much you saved over my recent dealer-installed rotors and pads... :(

F430 discs/rotors are upgraded to increase performance. They are Metal Matrix Composite.

It's why the correct parts are more expensive.

Where did you get the rotors for only $88? I like using the Raybestos EHT1053 ceramic hybrid blend brake pads on the front and back. I feel they are the same as the Girodisc magic pads at only $30ish a pair from rock auto (don’t buy from Amazon, a lot of fakes there)
