    hi,can any one tell me why some f430s have yellow calipers, and some red..is it optional??or the yellow is ceramic like porsche??

    Buyers have a choice of colors ,red,yellow and silver i believe.

    There is a choice of 2 reds : Rossa Corsa and Rossa Scuderia for the calipers. The silver is called grey instead of silver.

    Black is the standard color.

    Caliper color bears no relation to type of brake...carbon and iron brake calipers can be painted any of the optional colors, and black is the standard color for both if an option is not selected.

    Blows my mind that here in the U.S. yellow calipers are $100 more than red!!

    That's because yellow calipers have better stopping power -- everyone knows that. :D
