Thinking of changing the air intakes for my 430. Novitec's Carbon Airbox look so nice, with its unique shape. Do Novitec and Fabspeed provide the same increase HP to the car? Hmm..

That picture is of the Novitec 1 piece optimized carbon intake system. It looks amazing in person its includes in all the novitec supercharger kits, by itself $4990.

We can do the novitec airboxes (1week eta) for $2090 if you want the fabspeed airboxes $1495 I have them instock ready to ship. The nice thing is the novitec includes the novitec air filters.

Put the Fabspeed on mine with the stock filters because the car is still under factory warranty. And the boxes will not increase HP, no matter what the manufacturer claims.

RTM has its place but its costs are very high. Lay up labor is less but the tooling is expensive compared to traditional autoclave tools (much less expensive than injection molding plastic). It is an emerging technology that is still way too expensive to use in these aftermarket applications. Bear in mind that the airbox quoted in the article retails for almost $12,000!

    Cheaper...I think not.

i have all the novitec carbons on mine, it is absolutely the best quality carbons i ever seen, bar none. its costly but i think its the best.
i dont think they make much of a difference in HP alone, but with their exhaust and ECU, the engine spins much quicker than stock and sounds insane! haha!

    my novitec :
