    hi I have a new engine lid in carbon, genuine Ferrari unopened including lexan window, side grilles. any ideas what this is worth, trying to decide whether to keep it or sell it. Part number 70001486

    There's been a Scud lexan engine lid with the duck tail and carbon grills unsold on eBay for £1k since November.

    hi voicey, I cant find that item on ebay, what was it listed as?, there is a broken one with no window or grilles for over £3K. that's the only one I can find.

    the item is sealed in its new box, only just manufactured by Ferrari. The decision I have to make is whether it is a worthwhile upgrade for my scuderia, bearing in mind the scuderia engine lid is already part carbon with lexan window as standard.

    It was listed by a breaker down in Devon (I think). They were breaking a whole scud up and this was one of the listings. I can't find it either so perhaps it has been sold but it went unsold for months (I was half thinking about buying it but I have too many pending upgrades as it is!).

    Voicey is right it was for sale by Charles Church breakers. IICR was originally listed for £3000 then later £1000 ...... and was unsold for about 6 months or more. I did think about this for my 430 but I don't like the look of the two carbon bars so didn't bother
