    Hi all,

Could you share your perspective on seat size for the optional Carbon seats on a F430 or 360?

I’m wondering if medium sized seats are going to be a tight fit. I’m 6.1ft in length and weigh 200lbs and wear size 34 jeans. Would I be comfortable in medium seats or will it be to narrow on longer drives?

Also: are the Carbon seats from a 360 and a F430 identical or are there differences?

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

    Roger

Given your dimensions, I would certainly go for large seats. I have them, and they are snug and hold you in tight (I'm similar size to you|).
Also having large seats will make the car more attractive to a wider (pardon the pun) audience on resale.

Thank you for this. And agreed with the view that large seats are much more interesting when reselling the car.

I'm around 160 lbs, have the large seats and wouldn't go with any smaller size

At 5’9/160lbs I was worried about the seats being too large/low for me from what I read online, but that’s not the case. The height is fine and I fit snug.

Before finding a car with carbon seats I was planning on swapping the stock seats out for a pair of Recaro SPG so I was pleasantly surprised by their support, even in a large.

Id go for the Large carbon seats, we have them in ours, and its tight enough as they are measured to tiny italian men.... im a skinny guy, about 1.87M tall, and weight about 60KG (sorry, i don't know how what kind of eagles i should use for each measurement for you americans ;) ) i might just fit in a medium (havent tried) but i know for sure anyone else in my entire family will not fit in the medium seat.

This depends what your goal is. If you need one that hugs you so you can drive better, go for tighter seat. If you need one so your car is more “attractive” for next buyer, that opens up whole another can of worms as everyone has different criteria.
For me I want a seat that fits me best. So no using larger seat will not be my preference.

I think the point is that a “large” is not all that large, and fits a lot tighter than you would think for most drivers.

I’m 6’, 200lbs, and 33” waist. I bought a set of 360 large sport carbons and they are snug in the shoulders. Like others have said, you’ll def need larges.
