Having had a 360 with cat bypass pipes(Tubi), I know the advantages and disadvantages ie. engine light can come on due to disparity in temperature between the front and rear oxygen sensors being out of spec. Has anyone tried a cat bypass on a 430?

    Good question.

On the earlier systems you are correct that the amout of flow through the cats during by-pass mode could cause the rear O2 to trigger a non-critical fault code....however........ systems such as the Kreis-sieg F1 system has addressed this concern as the result of on going develpment that we have been involved with.

FYI, it is not so much the difference in the temperatures between the front and rear O2 sensor but rather if they independently were operating within the OEM prescribed range of variation.

    Take care
