Hello all, I’ve had a trawl through the forum but don’t seem to be able to find a definitive answer, I’m looking to replace the standard brakes on my 2008 F430 with CCB, I’m trying to establish whether the carbon brakes from a 599 are the same, I have a suspicion that they are larger at the front as fitted to the scud and challenge, I wonder if anybody could clarify, also whether the standard handbrake caliper is still used on the rear brakes.

No, they are quite different. 380 mm F, 350 mm R vs 599 398 mm F and 360 mm R. Plus the rear parking brake in a 599 is a set of drum brakes in the hat vs the F430's separate parking brake caliper. Would be a lot of work to adapt 599 brakes to a V8 Ferrari.

Thank you both for your replies, I think I’ll leave this little project alone until some F430 CCB’s come up for sale!

Good plan, or 360 CS CCMs. CCBs are Porsche, CCMs are Ferrari.
