A question for any structural specialists. Are the F430 Challenge cars structurally different from the street model? What I mean specifically is are the body panels thinner? Do the Roof, A and B pillars torsional lean on the roll cage? Would removing the forward sections of the roll cage compromise the body of the car beyond that of a standard F430? In short, if you removed the cage from an F430 Challenge would it be any less capable than the street car, with all else being equal?

Having been in the Challenge series for some time, I am not aware of any structural differences between street and race cars. When looking up structural parts, the numbers are the same for street or Challenge.
