Took my challenge car to the track over the weekend after running a few sessions the slow down light appeared on the cluster and reduced a bit of power.
The next day I ran again it was fine for the first 2 sessions then the same symptoms happened again.
Any challenge car experts have any ideas what caused this issue?
    Appreciate in advance!

The only slow down lamp on the challenge cars is for exhaust temperature. You either have an overheating exhaust or a false warning due to a failing sensor.

Given that the issue was after track speed both times, I am leading toward over heated cat. It may be one of the few times I have seen the slow down light actually do its job and not just cause issues. You should have it checked out. Next time bring it in the paddock and check the cat temp externally and see if it is very hot. I you have a diagnostic tool, you can scan the parameters as well and see what the cat temp is. Check both sides and check the external temp as well in case you have a thermocouple reading a bit high.

    Thanks Wade!!
Btw I removed the original cats and replaced them with straight pipes a few years ago. I had run many sessions but never had any slow down light issue prior.

Okay, so make sure the F1 pressure is where it needs to be. On street cars, the slow down light can be triggered by low pressure in the F1 system.
