How many F430's you got? cause i believe this is a different car to all the carbon work you were posting here earlier, amazing setup though! must be a whole lot of fun!
This is awesome. So many parallels between our 430 project cars! Yours is twin turbocharged, mine is twin supercharged. We both have some GT3 components, especially the front — did you add the entire air conveyor and GT3 front massive radiator? I like the f40-inspired rear fenders…I have the same rear hatch in lexan…probably for the same reason you do! At any rate, I can’t wait until mine is at the same spot yours is… [emoji851] It’s close… Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
NICE! Here’s mine. Waiting to switch out the Taurino hub conversion for the F430C hubs and OE GT3 brakes so I can mount the original 18” BBS wheels or the 19” Brixtons I had made to spec. Here’s the mock up shot (with bubble wrap) with the blowers and intercoolers Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
The Novitec kit is poorly made, because there is no regulation valve for the boost. The boost is progressive because it is calculated according to the diameter of the pulleys. So you would get a 7 psi boost at 6500 rpm and below that your 430 will be almost normal. It's a shame to restrict the Rotrex superchargers when they can deliver 90,000 rpm
For example on the f430 turbo the boost in the intake manifold is 7 psi, but the turbos blow at 14 psi... So, I exploit the turbo to the maximum (76%) compared to the PR which corresponds to 7 psi
Understood. I have many turbo and supercharged cars and am aware of the limitations and benefits of each. The Novitec kit in stock form is certainly poorly constructed — we’ve spent a LOT of time fixing their poor engineering. I mean, forget what you said, but they simply did a real ****ty job with basics. That said, I went this route for three reasons: 1. I bought the kit for a very very good price and it’s always nest explaining there are two blowers 2. There are many more (relatively) turbocharged 430s - not so many dual supercharged ones and I like that 3. I’m not looking for max power. I really am happy with the power I got from the new NA motor, exhaust and tune — this is just a cherry on top. So my car is unique given how I wanted to build it and I have plenty of other higher horsepower vehicles if I want to get crazy (800 HP twin turbo GT2, Ariel Atom turbo 3RS and just finished/sold last year my 900HP supercharged/meth’d Huracan Evo) Nothing you’ve said I disagree with and again I very much love what you’ve done with your build! My next project is a 458 challenge twin turbo with two turbo PRECISION T3 level 5 A rocket with 950 HP and 4 wheels...
I'm like you, I like to have things that others don't have in your car. Here are the parts, I made for my personal F430
