I have a 2006 F430 with about 12,000 miles that I drive regularly. I took it out last weekend and it worked great. I backed it out of the garage this morning and it rev’d to 3000 before engaging the clutch. I pulled it forward and it rev’d to 3000 again without engaging the clutch, there was no smell of burning clutch and there’s been no indication of clutch slip prior to today. I had the ECU’s flashed. Is it possible that this put the PIS out of adjustment? Or do clutches on these just ‘go’? mechanically, I’ve never come across anything like this before on any vehicle. Is the boot lid or front lid open, driver or passenger door open. It normally does not engage at all, let alone @3000. is it showing as engaged in 1st or reverse
what is the distance that the clutch disc travels when it was released from fully engaged with the flywheel ?
