So I am trying to figure an issue out. Have searched the posts, but can’t find something that covers this.

My 430 has an issue once warm. Last year after about 60+ minutes the car (f1) would not shift in to 4th or 6th while in 5th. I could blip the car down in to 3rd though. Now more recently, after only about 15+ minutes of driving the car would not shift in to reverse. Now once the car cools, this problem goes away..

Don’t ask me about blocking the driveway when my wife got home while it cooled down. Ha.

Bought the single model version of the Leonardo. So far I like it. I went in to the readings and it showed 8.xxx percentage worn. But here is the interesting part. The PIS showed a reading of 1.657. According to what I am reading in the WSM it should be 4-5.

Seems to me the clutch was replaced without remembering or writing down the parameters.

The clutch was replaced, according to the records from the dealer, 20,xxx miles ago. At around 22,xxx Miles on the car.

I plan on bleeding the f1 and also centering the actuator.

Any other advice or ideas? What can I do or check?

    Paul

P.s. I did a relearn and the readings above changed.. but ever so slightly... .xxx on each. Not noteworthy anyway.

I am wondering with that off a PIS setting I should just try for a 3.99 and program it? bad idea?

Look at voicey website ..some.good ideas

I am no expert but from what I understand you can measure output shaft speed and when you get it to zero then you are close to the right pis

But do it when warm to get all expansion of parts in calculations
