    Hey guys,

I've experienced a few clutch slips recently. The revs would go up to 3-4K with very little acceleration, then all of a sudden the clutch would bite and the car would lunge forward slightly, and then all is normal. Here are my 3 recent experiences:

    1. Drove the car out of the house. Everything was normal. Parked the car at a slight incline. Reversed downhill with a few jabs of the throttle, was very careful and I had to feather the throttle quite a bit (gasp) cause of the slope and I didn't want to scratch the rear bumper/diffuser. Engaged 1st gear, and the car would creep very slowly ahead at 3-4K RPM and then, everything back to normal and didn't happen again.

    2. Pretty much same as above except I parked on flat ground. When leaving, reversed the car some 20 meters by jabbing the throttle and letting go so the car would roll without gas, engaged first gear and stopped at the bottom of a slight incline to merge into traffic. Pressed on the accelerator and same thing happened - 3-4K (maybe even 5K at some point) and the car would slowly inch forward before finally back to normal once car is on flat road again.

    3. Started the car and moved it back and forth along my driveway for a car wash. After wash, engaged first gear to go forward and all was fine. Then I hit reverse and same thing happened but in reverse gear now - 4-5K and the car barely moves. So I decided to put it into 1st and drive it along my housing area. Came to a small bump which is at a small incline and the car was stuck. 1st gear - car wouldn't move. Not even an inch. 7K RMP. Nothing. So I switched off the engine and restarted the car. Everything was back to normal. The car started moving in 1st gear at just below 2K RPM as per normal. Drove it around the neighborhood, over bumps and inclines and all was well.

Any idea what this is? Clutch life showed 42% life when I checked a month ago though I was told it may not necessarily be accurate. Hoping the gurus here can give me some advice on what to do (or whether it needs a new clutch).

    Thanks in advance.

Could be lots of things. May need new clutch. Could be a faulty sensor or faulty TCU. Seems all over the place. It needs to go to a good service department for diagnosis.
