F430 Clutch Software

If you know what it is now, then I suggest having it checked when you have your annual service performed.It is a standard check I perform for clients each year during their service. If you are not doing burnouts or hard throttle starts, then it should last a very long time. Throw out bearing failure will likely come first and there is no way to predict that failure. They start to drag, leak, or the sensor makes them malfunction and that causes issues driving. Then you go in and fix that and put a clutch in it.

 

I would discuss with that. It really depends not only from your driving style, but also the conditions you use the car. I saw one lasting 60k and some finished at 15k km.
You can check the clutch wear via most of the diagnostic software with Ferrari - Accini, Texa, Launch or Autel. It will be not a precise reading, but give a rough idea.

 

The clutch wear reading can be manipulated so keep that in mind. The way the car drives is a better indicator of clutch performance. Drive as many as you can. The differance is very apparent.
