In the event this has not been addressed before (or a refresher is needed), when closing the top give the rear window a slight push so that it bows outward. This will avoid the wavy rear window when the top is open again. More significant, if any of you are suffering from scratches or the dreaded rectangle-like mark that occurs in the window, do not be afraid to use a buffing wheel with cutting compound followed by a polish with the wheel. For the ultra brave—1500, 3000, 5000, 7000 wet sand paper works (especially if you have scratches) prior to the buffing wheel steps. You will be left with a slight haze. Now comes the magic part. Use sylvania headlight restoration clear coat and you get a clear glass finish. The product is a wipe on clear coat. Meguiars spray clear coat is just too hard to use in such a tight space. Very pleases with the result.

Thanks for posting this tip! It's such a pain in there to do any meaningful polishing, even with a mini buffer. I'll have to give this a try.
