Hi Guys, I'm looking into buying a 2005 F430, but before I do, I want to know what I'm missing out on by not buying a 2006 or 2007 model instead. Thanks, KJ
Maybe Ferrari made some mecanil changes in some parts to solve some problems, anyone knows something ?
I have a 2 year old 430. Since it arrived, there have been a number of small updates that the dealer has done on my car and some options have been added to the list, but the car has not been "improved" in any meaningful way. Whichever year you get, job one might be to take it to a dealer where they can enter the vin and find out what updates it was supposed to get and if they have been done yet. Dave
Nothing mechanically really. Off the top of my head, with respect to options, there were a number of things that changed in the spring of 2006 such as: - race seats no longer available (NA only) - two tone interior added - Challenge grill added - Daytona style rear wall added Later in that summer: - Alcantara interior added And then this spring: - Challenge grill no longer available (NA only) If you're looking for certain things, this will help narrow down the build dates.
doesnt that mean that the challenge grill was only available as an option in na for 1 year? wont that increase the value on cars with the grill?
cars can still be ordered with a challenge grill. I had ordered a car in late spring. However, a mistake occurred somewhere in the chain and as it turned out we could not coordinate the correct PPG coding and paint process for a custom color I wanted on the car and ended up having to re-order last week with a standard color....challenge grill included.
