Hey guys, out 2007 RHD F430 has now an E-DIFF error on the display of the Cluster. Initially, we had several errors showing up on the Cluster, until we lost various functionality throughout the car. Now that the replacement panel has been installed and programmed, we are getting an error with regards to the E-DIFF. It then locks us out of the different modes and remains only in Low Traction. It was suggested that it may be the pressure sensor on the gearbox, but I am not fully convinced. Anyone has any experience with issues as such? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
You will need the SD3 to truly understand what is going on plus to wipe code. Yes the pressure sensor on the gear box has been a known issue to cause the E-diff error code. How and who installed the replacement panel and programmed it? If it wasn't a dealer with a SD3 I don't see how it could be programmed.
