    Hey All,

    Has anyone else had any issues with an F430 Engine Bay Lid red light come on on the Dash and then not able to change gear past 2nd?

    I had this issue today which, eventually, rectified itself but wanted to know the cause so I do not get caught short again on a longer drive.

    Hi Amir
    Try posting in the 360/430 section (https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/forums/360-430.58/), there are some very helpful and knowledgable people in there. Could be a number of things as I understand it.

    I had it once or twice on my Stradale, but couldn't get any gears. I eventually figured out it was a bad contact on the engine cover latch which was making the car think the lid was open for a second...
