I’m having trouble obtaining info on any type of exhaust manifold replacement, etc… prior to my ownership. However, each manifold has white writing on the flanges. Any idea what this may signify or mean? Thank you.. writing is pictured.

Those look stock. Try and get a photo of the part number stamped into the shielding of the manifold. Just a little ahead of the temp probe..

If I am seeing this picture correctly, the white marking is the stock exhaust manifold. The bolt direction should come from the catalytic converter.
So to answer your question, any F430 aftermarket exhaust should work and you should be able to keep the stock cats. I replaced all the bolts and springs. Loosening a couple of those boots are a bit fiddly.

Also, regardless if you decide to go stock or aftermarket, consider ovaling the last couple of bolt holes on each end to prevent this from happening:

There is significant thermal expansion, ovaling the last couple of manifold bolt holes on each end reduces stress on the manifold studs.

I should clarify that the ovaling should be on the stud holes on the exhaust manifold. Also on the above post “boots” was an autocorrect for “bolts”.

As to your question about the writing. I have seen this on a number of cars. I believe it is something factory although I don't know what it was for or the meaning.
I have used aftermarket headers on a number of 430s to eliminate the precats and the future issue that can be. I have had no issues. You can keep all of the factory cats and mufflers if you so desire. I have also installed complete header to tip systems as well. All with good results. If you eliminate the cats, you will have issues. Federal laws do not allow for software to remove the post cat O2 check engine light if you take off the cats. They are very strict on companies that can do the software modification and I have found Even for track only use, companies won't do the modification. I just keep the cats on the car.
    My 2 cents worth.

Sounds good and thanks. I am def moving to aftermarket and was curious what the writing signified. Much appreciated!
