Why does it seem that the f430 exhaust has a much deeper tone (which I prefer) than the Scud or the 16M or even the 458. Is it the particular tuning that was done to the exhaust or is there a difference in the mechanics of the engine that produces this glorious roar.

Air Intake Resonance System is simply a large part

Was this the issue that a member posted about a month or so back about how the Scud has a different intake then the 16m and the f430 which was attributed to the difference in exhaust?

Wow great news! I was wondering what ever happened to your research into it. Can I verify what you said in that thread was that on one side of the Scud engine you couldn't fit the 430 intake because of a sizing issue, but on the other side you were able to and you noticed significant differences in exhaust? I myself love the deep roar of the f430, I don't take as much of a liking to the Scud although it still sounds amazing, it doesn't have the same sort of substance.
