Any recommendations on improving the looks of the exhaust tips. I would like something a little better looking than stock but am really apprehensive about changing anything from stock. Man I must be really bored.

Tubi and some others offer just tips to use with your stock muffler. They can be changed back to stock if you want to later on (for resale, etc.)

This is the best product on the market for the Ferrari F430. The F430 already has a great exhaust system but isn't the best in the looks department. Most all the owners of the F430 do not like the look of the exhaust system and that is the reason why we decided to create a product to fix the problem without having to buy a new exhaust system or even permenately modify your Ferrari. These exhaust tips simply slide onto your existing exhaust tips and set screw on. No cutting, welding or any other modification needed. These are made of polished billet 304 stainless steel. You will now have a great looking exhaust system in just a few minutes at a fraction of the cost of replacing any part of your exhaust.

Had these on my F430 Spider and loved them! 3 minutes to take off when I sold the car, another 3 minutes to put on the new car. Still loving them!

OK... a potentially dumb question, but how do these things stay on? I imagine there's some sort of set-screw and the tips are held on by pressing against the stock tips, but there's a ton of vibration back there... enough that it already broke one of my stock exhaust tips and I had to have the entire left side replaced (under warranty).

Has anyone had one of these tips fly off while driving?

I think they look great, but it would be a bummer to come home and find one missing.

I agree in that I've never liked appearance of the the stock tips.

you're exactly correct. the inner diameter of the sleeve is a couple of mm larger than the outer diameter of the stock tips. the sleeve is held on with set screws.

The set screw on Hill Engineering tips has a pressure activated loc-tite "type" coating. When the threads engage and pressure is applied, the set-screw is locked in place.

Like previously stated, these have two set screws on the bottom that disappear into the tip when tight so they give a very clean appearence compared to the competition. We supply you with loc-tite and a cut down wrench to do the job yourself. We have shipped about about 60-70 sets already and the only time I have heard of a tip falling off was when the customer didn't use the loc-tite.

Think this was previously mentioned, but for newly manufactured cars, the stainless tips can be ordered with the car. Dealer still didn't know price (which I'm sure is more than 600.00) but are permanent.

I tried to order these but dealer said they were not available in the US. Don't know how hard they actually tried, but it wasn't on their ordering system. They do show on the configurator though, I'd be interested to hear if anyone had a car delivered with these (and how much).

I'm hoping they are available. I haven't hear otherwise. My build is next month so I would assume if they are in fact not available I should be hearing from my dealer pretty darn soon. If I hear a price I'll post this as well.

The Tubi tips are a great way to go but they are now retailing at $2800 just for the tips!
