    Hi,

I've got a few questions about making the exhaust on the f430 louder by disconnecting the vacuum pipes.

    1) Where abouts are the pipes on the f430?
    2) Is it just the pipes that need blocking off?
    3) Are there any negative effects from doing this?

    Think that's it!

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You just need to unplug the vacuum hoses on each side as indicated on the attached picture. Make sure you block them with a small screw to avoid dirt being sucked in. I can't see any negative effects of it ;)

A better solution is to use a remote control unit which can be easily installed so that you can control yourself the opening of the valves. I found that it's better to start the engine with the valves closed so that the cats can heat up faster. And it's better for the neighbours too ;)

Here's to link for the remote control unit DIY guide : http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=310472&highlight=DIY+remote+exhaust+valve

    Enjoy the sound ;)
