I cannot find Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 or Quaker State Q Horsepower 5w40 to add to my 2007 F430. I would like to know what people are using when these 2 products are not available. I have done a search and have not come up with an acceptable answer. Thanks, Don
Three that come to mind that you might check out are Redline, Castrol and Royal Purple. All three of these have suitable substitutes. Don M.
Pennzoil Ultra 5w40 Euro is supposedly identical to Shell Helix Ultra 5w40, they rebrand the Shell as Pennzoil in the US. Look for the Ferrari logo on the Pennzoil bottle to be sure. You can find it on Amazon.com if your local auto shop doesn't stock it. I bought the Q State Q HP at my local dealer as needed. I just had it serviced at a local independent shop and he used Redline. He owns a CS and uses Redline as well.
