F430 F1 Purchase Decision - PLEASE HELP

Greetings to all,

I am new to the forum and want to say hello to all the fchat members, and by way of introduction, I have a purchase question that will need your inputs and advice.

Car 1: 05 F1, around 8800 miles, sticker around $224K, in-service date 11/05, 3 owners. If I buy this one, I want to purchase the 1 yr. ext. warranty as well.

Car 2: 06 F1, around 3200 miles, sticker around $200K, 1 owner.


Both cars are the same color, sold and offerred by the respective Ferrari dealers with service records.
Car 2 costs $12K more than Car 1 (price included the ext. warranty cost for Car 1).

Which one is a better deal? PLEASE HELP.

Charlie, sticker prices help tremendously, but could you explain the options list for us? Off the bat, I look to the options as being more important than one year of age (05 vs. 06). Recognize, however, that the Power Cube warranty extension is about $5k to buy. MAKE SURE it is the Power Cube, NOT the lower valued warranty.

Options please.

Thanks for the quick reply.

The 05 car has a bunch of carbon fiber: cf driving zone, cf lower cabin, cf door and moulding, cf engine compartment, ceramic brakes, daytona seats (but not power adjusted seats), polished wheels, yellow calipers., yellow tach., yellow stiching..

The 06 car has yellow calipers, power-operated daytona seats, yellow tach, silver stiching, hi-fi stereo & sub. Seats

I think that's all I can remember for now. Thanks again for the quick reply as I have to make a decision by tomorrow.
