Are the stock wheels 18" or 19" like cs?
i'm amazed you drove the same two 360s (heavier, less rigid spiders no less) i did followed by driving my CS and didn't find a substantial difference in brakes - as i did. it's all in the feel. you should have also noticed substantially better braking in my CS owing to the tires alone. on top of the obvious feel and fade resistance (though i did manage to get my CS brakes to fade in the mountain on more than one occassion - something i've been unable to do in the CGT despite much more miles of much harder driving) properties of the ceramics, handling and ride quality is also improved from the reduced unsprung weight. they may produce similar stopping times "in magazines" on a couple of back to back tries, but the comparisons end there. given you don't intend to drive the 430 long until the spider comes, i can understand you unwillingness to reduce profit re: ordering the ceramics. however, i think you'd really be missing the boat to not order them in the spider which you will keep much longer.
Eli, what's the serial number...?!? Also, can you email me, i have some questions... [email protected]...
where'd ya do that? i'm gonna see the new spider tomorrow but don't know that we'll be hearing it. that said, a friends is coming in pretty soon anyway, and there's a chance i may be driving another's next week.
