You need to post this in the 360/430 Section and get help from a dude named Trev (trev360) or another named Gobble.
    Either will give you joy

Do you still want the alarm to function? If you don't care, do this... Take off the bulkhead cover in the frunk and precisely slice open the vapor barrier on the driver side. Located the alarm horn which is to the right of the steering system. Unplug it and you're good to go. Here's an image of what you're looking for.

Doesn't the LED remain illuminated if you do that?

Mine didn't ('07), but I can't speak for other cars. The alarm is still technically active, you're just unplugging the horn.

Interesting. Thanks. Perhaps the F430 is different from the 360, F355, 550, etc? The F430 does have separate Alarm ECUs and Immobiliser ECUs. On earlier cars, the siren is not just a speaker. It has complex electronics inside. When the siren fails, the Immobiliser ECU knows it. To disable the siren, other F-car owners have had to resort to disconnecting the LED or open up the siren and disconnect the internal plug attached to the speaker.
