Found under driver’s seat, left front corner. Visibility is so limited under the seat, I can’t figure out where it might have come from. It looks big enough to potentially be important. Does anyone care to hazard a guess?

Looks like one of the screws that secures the top of the battery cover/footplate at the passenger footwell.

Thanks guys. Good thoughts both. I consulted the seat parts explosion and crawled all under the dash on both sides. I still have no idea.

It does look like that. But mine are both present and accounted for.

I find battery door screws all over the car. Under the driver seat is common. I also try not to tighten past finger tight, don't want a customer stuck without a screw driver and in need of access.

That’s actually good advice. When I tried to access the battery on my 360, it was nearly impossible to get one of the two bolts off.

Whoever serviced my car last actually left the screws out. I was able to pull the passenger floorboard flap down by hand. I don't see a problem with it like that, it doesn't move.

I sometimes replace the screw with barbed push clips..keeps it from rattling and a good pull is all you need to gain access..
