My boyfriend, Trent, used to be an avid user of Ferrari Chat until he decided to go and start another company...He is the one that suggested I go on Ferrari Chat looking for help.
His F430 is in need of some body work on the front bumper and I have decided to get this done for his birthday. I have tried calling around to different exotic body shops, Ferrari dealerships to see who they use, etc... but I feel the quotes that are coming in are quite high for the work that needs to be done. Part of the gift is me doing the leg work because he is too busy to with work or he would just do the repair himself...he loves working on his cars and if you know him, you know that he is good at it too. Anyways, I am trying desperately to not get taken advantage of financially and would appreciate any help in the matter.
Can anyone recommend a reliable body shop? We live in Central Florida.

    Thanks!

Sorry I can't really help with any suggestions - I'm sure you already checked w Ferrari of Central FL - just wondered what happened to Trent as he used to be a great contributor to the 430 section of Fchat. Hope all is going well with his new business venture and I'm sure others will chime in with body shop suggestions.

What kind of repair does the bumper require? I could recommend you my bodyshop is Burke's Corvettes in Maitland. The owner is Tim Burke, 407-539-1717, tell him Thai referred you.

Thank you for the suggestions! We had an incident with a brick curb that was just a little higher than we thought. I have attached photos of the damage and as you can see it is mostly on the underside of the bumper.
Trent hasn't been active on here because he is running a start up company with a new technology he created. He has a plan and if all goes well should have the time to get back on here soon (he misses it) and attend the car functions that I know he loves so much.

I would take Thai's recommendation any day, he knows his stuff just like Trent. Please say hi to him for me and tell him we are looking forward to seeing him soon!

I have not personally used Burke's but I have seen their work on Corvettes and was impressed. I would remove the bumper and take it in separately if it were my car.
