    Hi all,

    So my temperature oil guage stopped working. Tried repairing it but they cant so looks like I will need to replace it.

    I am trying to order a new one however the parts guy is asking me if the cluster has a sound kit ... Does anyone know what he is talking about and how I can check if mine comes with one?

    What is FAI? Im in Hong Kong so its a bit restricted here. But my shop did send it out to an electrician and he couldnt fix it ... If I dont replace the unit I was just thinking of running a secondary oil temp guage and the ecu is getting a reading. We checked the signal.

    Just when ordering the instrument cluster I was asked if the cluster had a sound kit? No clue what that is.

    Might try to find a second hand instrument cluster if anyone has one? thanks

    FAI are the experts in Ferrari digital instrument repair. Odds are very good they can repair it. They repaired my Superamerica cluster.

    Only issue is I am in Hong Kong and cant send the cluster out to the states for 1-2 months ... so need a replacement part is really my only option. Just need to order the right one ... hence not sure what a sound kit is? thakns

    I thought all binnacles were wired for sound. The programming may be different, however. Do you get an aural warning when you go over a certain speed (like the UAE cars). Do you get an aural warning when the seatbelts aren't fastened?

    No Im running harness and racing seats now so dont get any sound regarding stock seat belts which are still all connected. And no speed warning above a certain speed. So guessing that it is no programmed that way.
