Hello everyone, I'm facing problems with a Ferrari F430 2010 instruments cluster where all the displays are flickering most of the times and stops doing so for a short period. The milage digits are flickering and the dots between the milage numbers are turning on and off continuously one after the other. All other displays in the instruments cluster are also flickering. I tested the charging system and nothing appeared to be wrong. The earthing wires of the dash board are having almost 0.4 Ohm impedance with the ground so no ground connection problems are present. Being an electronic engineer I'm willing to dismantle the instruments cluster circuit board and try to look after faulty components.
Any idea about what may cause this problem to happen?
    Thank you in advance...

    Fred

You may be better off posting this on the 360/430 forum. Sounds like an internal power supply issue if both lights and digital displays are flickering. Have you tried adjusting the light levels with the pushbutton controls on the dash to see if that makes a difference?

Yes I tried changing the lights level but nothing changed, the digits are glitching and flickering almost all the time, even though the gear digit background is getting bright then darkened again frequently. It's obvious that the problem is related to circuit board internal interference which is affecting the whole dash board since you can see digits segments are turning on and off continuously.

In case it was impossible to reach to the faulty components and repair it then I will surely have to seek for an external help.
    Thank you for your feedback.
