I placed my order for the 430 when I bought my 360. One thing about the tan interior is I like it when the carpet is a contrasting color. For example, red exterior, tan interior, black or red carpet. Does anybody have a picture with red carpet along with tan interior? Once upon a time, I saw a car with it, and I would like to see it again before I put my "official" order in. Also, should I go with red inserts or black? Thanks.

Nick's car has tan with red inserts. Search nberry. It really nice. Not sure about the red carpet on tan interior. That might be a little shocking.

Just my 2 cents, but I think the red carpet is nasty. The tan/black combo shown above is very nice.

Personally I favor the black interior with red carpets, gives it a nice zing! But a bit hard to clean I bet... I like it, but I don't know if I'd own one. Black carpets with red interior and black inserts and stitching would be killer.

Thanks Mike for the photos. I will definitely get the Daytona seats, and the black inserts with black carpet looks awesome. Can you go black inserts, with red carpet? Or red with red, and black with black? I just thought since the steering wheel is black and the dash, black inserts would go nicely even if you have red carpet.

I would go will all tan and black.
I like the red carpet with black seats and black dash, but I don't care for it with tan seats.

    nberry,
I agonized over this decision myself recently. I had a 328 with tan leather/red carpets that I really liked. However, there are 2 shades of red available now. One is very bright like scuderia red, the other a dark bugundy. I don't think either works with rossa corsa exterior. Your dealer should have samples. The dark red would work well with Rossa Fiorano like the one pictured above, but that color is no longer offered. (Bummer). So, I am getting rossa corsa paint, tan leather and black carpets which, in the opinion of my wife and I, look much better than do the standard brown carpets. (We have seen both in 430's). I am also getting black piping, but not the inserts. That's just too "busy" for my taste.

Thanks everyone for the help. I will go with red exterior, tan interior with black inserts and black carpeting. I will stick with the black roll bars as I like the look from behind with black. The only other questions is the extended leather in the back, black piping or no, and the headliner in leather? How much of the headliner is leather? All other usual options I will also get, the F1, stereo, shields, red calipers, Tubi, K40 will be transferred from my 360, and this will be a Spyder of course. :)

Viper - you probably already know this, but Ferrari will do a fair amount of custom work upon request. If something moves you, it's worth putting in an order.

I've always chosen either inserts or piping, but not both - but it's such a sucjective decision ....

When I order a car, I usually flip through the Fcar section of dupontregistry.com - IMO, it's a good place to see a variety of interior & exterior selections.

oops - was going to post a pic of my black/tan interior, but texasmike beat me to it!

I took delivery of a 612 this week in Ingrid Gregio with natural interior, black dash and steering wheel. The only things I can see that would improve it would be yellow calipers and black carpet. The tan carpet is good but not the perfect match for the interior. Also the way the black trim is designed around the bottom of the doors the black would look really good. I have to say the car is fantastic. It gets a much more positive reaction on the street and in the neighborhood than my 360. The 360 is black with linin interior with black piping and black carpet so I should have stuck to my guns on the choice of carpet. Instead I did the "normal" thing. The 360 is a manual and I just can't drive it without a smile but this 612 is one fabulous car. F is to be complimented. A truly great car!

These interiors look like pimpmobiles. All you need is a set of 22" Chrome Rims with spinners to complete the package

Keep the sophistication and good Italian design with more subtle colors/combinations.

Not yet, but I'll try to get some this week. I want to have clear shield put on this week. I got a referral from the dealer for the person they use. Sam at Premier prefers another brand (not 3M) and by reputation does excellent work. Unfortunately, he's on the west coast and hasn't been able to orgainize a trip to the mid-atlantic states. Anybody know anyone really good in the Carolinas or Virginia?

The black inserts do look great on this interior. I saw a yellow 430 at FCI with black interior and yellow piping. It was also sharp. My 360 has lenin with black piping on a black exterior. It looks great. So piping is not a bad way to go either.
