    Does anyone know the proper procedure to reprogram a key fob for a 430? Neither of my fobs work. The code is entered and the car starts, but the doors will not lock/unlock when I press the button and the alarm will not engage. My dealer does not know what the problem is and cannot get to the car until next week at the earliest.

    Did you change the batteries? Odd that they'd both be dead but you never know.

    I had a similar problem with one of my keys....I was told it's not that uncommon for cars that sit for a while. The dealer can come to your house and reprogram the keys for you. Seems odd that your dealer won't get to you until next week considering both of your keys don't work. My guys came out first thing the next day and it was just a problem with one of my keys. You can also grab the code from the card in your manual pouch and order new keys over the phone if the dealer can't reprogram (at an insanely high price I would assume). Good luck...

    batteries are fresh and the keys work for starting the car. The button on the fobs do not work for unlocking/locking and to set the alrm.
