    Hi everyone.

    I’m doing a major service on a 2006F430 with 1700miles on it.

I’m buying the Ricambi kit, and I wonder if that covers all my bases or if anything else I should tackle at these time.
This is a full service kit for the F430, following is a list of what’s included. Thanks for any input.

The aren’t any Ferrari techs in my region by the way!

    This kit contains the following:
    1 x ACCESSORY BELT
    2 x AIR FILTER
    1 x OIL FILTER
    1 x COPPER CRUSH WASHER
    1 x MESH FILTER O RING
    1 x LOWER MESH FILTER
    1 x MESH FILTER O RING
    1 x FILTER SEEGER RING
    2 x AIR FILTER
    1 x POLLEN FILTER
    8 X NGK SPARK PLUGS
    1 X FUEL VAPOR FILTER

Should perform a brake fluid flush, do a F1 fluid flush and a full coolant dump and refill. All these fluids are probably over 10 years old.

The a/c dryer is probably OK. As long as the system works properly and has not lost charge, the dryer should be as new. I personally would not fool with it. There is a good chance that the a/c system has never been serviced. I would have the pressures checked. If OK, leave it alone.

The dryer should only be replaced if the system has been contaminated by component failure or moisture.

Thats good to know! The a/c is working perfectly, blows cool air all day long!

There was a dealer up to about 3 years ago, so I did regular service before. Since it closed down I’ve done the work with a couple of independent shops.

That is the list from us, Ricambi America. Indeed, a large number of our customers select to not change the A/C drier or charcoal canister with the F430 service.

Sorry guys I did not mean to question the veracity or quality of your list and or products. Matter of fact I will be ordering that kit from Ricambi. I have read about Ricambis great reputation ANDI have no reason to doubt it!
Is is merely my lack of knowledge reaching out for further assesment as to other work that might be or should be done at the same time!

My local dealer also changes the power steering fluid for the "two year" (major) service, along with everything mentioned above...including A/C receiver dryer and recharge. Not sure you really need to change the plugs, but no harm doing so.
