My F430 battery is no longer reliable. Whats a good replacement nowadays? My latest one is a 4 year old Optima. Im curious with all the battery advances that maybe theres lighter more powerful options now.

If you want reliable, Interstate seems to be the consensus. I bought an Optima red top first and it gave some issues; lasted maybe a year before I replaced it with interstate. That's with me keeping the car on a tender anytime I'm not driving it. I'm not very knowledgeable on the performance battery's that are light weight, someone else will have to chime in for that.

    Anti Gravity H6/Group 48 40Ah saves about 31 lbs. About $800.00 with a coupon.

It does require a special charger, a Ctek designed for Li-Ion batteries. ($84.00)

I removed an almost new Lead acid battery and replaced it with this.

AntiGravity is the hot item right now, lithium is the rage, make sure you get a modern CTEK or NOCO - the right ones can also do lithium

Otherwise Ferrari dealers use Interstate AGM

Is the F430 alternator or...electrical system able to recharge the lithium Antigravity as the car is being driven? Im assuming i just need the ctek Li charger as a tender.
