drove the f430 yesterday..pretty warm in buffalo.when i got home parked it in the driveway.did a couple of things.went to move it into the garage and noticed an oil patch below the right back fender. The only thing i can figure out is the transmission oil reservoir might of over flowed from the heat and expansion.Once the car sat and cooled down ther was no more dripping.any thoughts.thanks van

What was the fluid like? Red? Sweet smelling?

Most likely the F-1 pump was very full and due to the temp/pressure, it "bled out".

Has the car been serviced recently? From what I've been told, this can be expected on the first drive after a fluid top-up. If not, I would be more concerned and have the car checked.

    Good Luck!

There's an oil filter replacement campaign. It might be hard to tell exactly where it was coming from because of the undertray.

Just had my 360 service and the same thing happen to me this weekend. Called the dealer and they said it was most likely due to topping it off and not to worry about it.

Had the same thing happen to my new 430. Actually a few times. Right rear area. It was F1 fluid. Red color. After the third time I had it flat bedded back to the dealer and they said it was F1 fluid "spill over" due to a slight overfill, after the trans getting hot. They checked everything out and no problems. Said that a few of their new F430 came through with F1 slightly overfilled. Has not happened to me since. Al
