Hi, just checked the power steering reservoir on top of the engine and it is a bit low. Car had service done at 5115 miles and only 7350 now, not worth the 150 mile drive to have oil added. Manual says Shell Donax TX but that is now Shell Sprirax S4 ATF HDX which I can't find or order and dealer won't ship. What is the equivalent?
    Thanks.
    Scott.

    3,

Have you looked in "Sticky: 360/430 DIY and Technical Threads" at the beginning of this (360/430) Section? Someone thought they'd improve things but made the entry titles all but unintelligible. The item for which you search ends in "errerid=127422". Click on that and you get a list by (another) Scott (spvisd) of equivalent fluids available in the US. Your quarry is: "Power Steering Fluid: Mobil 1 98HC69 Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid (2 Liters) from Amazon.com", but all the rest of equivalent fluids for the 430 are there, too, along with some dandy procedures. Enjoy.

I use Redline D4 ATF in mine, I believe any high quality synthetic ATF fluid would work, same goes with the F1 fluid. Hope this help

It is just synthetic ATF meeting DEXRON III standards, like c d said. I use Valvoline DEXRON VI in mine. All the others mentioned will work fine, too, but mixing may not be smart since the additives may interact.
