On October 27th of 07 I was involved in an incident regarding a 430 spider that was pulled over and resulted in 2 DUI charges in the same evening. This event made the local news, and at the time a LOT of noise on this forum. The incident generated a lot of passion from a lot of folks. Some people were jumping to conclusions and ready to hang me on the spot. Some people complained that these types of things give a bad reputation to Ferrari owners, etc. Some folks argued that they couldnt believe that the State Patrol had entrapped me, etc.

I was the owner of that Ferrari (the passenger while it was speeding over 520) and the second person in the vehicle that the State Patrol arrested for DUI that evening. I was unable to comment at the time because I was under investigation and in the process of being charged for DUI and my attorney was adamant that I not comment.

A Jury found me NOT guilty of the DUI charge yesterday. I just wanted to update the forum and let everyone know what the outcome was. For all of the folks that supported me, THANK YOU!

To support you on that one was a no brain er to me anyway. :) Something seemed fishy about that from day one. I have some interesting tales as well of the LEO world and how they THINK that they have what they want. (when they stop you) Glad it's over for you. :)

Now you have the chance to comment!!! Unrestrained!! Would love to hear the other side. I think most of the people here were ambivalent, but certainly the media definitely had an agenda (guilty before proven innocent etc). I look forward to hearing all the juicy details!

Anytime the WSP/County Sheriff looses a traffic case is a good day in my books. Especially when it's in Chelan County!
