I'm currently a bit confused... and I ask some assistance. I know there are tons of F430 Options topics, and trust me I looked through all of them and haven’t found what I’m looking for yet… so I’m hoping someone here can help me.

I would like to know EXACTLY what each option on the F430 options list gets me. This may require some pictures, as I am currently nowhere NEAR a dealer who could possibly show me.
There are many many options on the F430 Options List that are self-explanatory.... and I won’t bother anyone with those... but I ask that if you have any information on the following options that you share it with me, as it would greatly help.

Two Racing Seats in Leather – How would I decide my size? (Medium or Large?)

4-point Racing Harness – I would assume these would only be available with the racing seats?

Road-Legal Roll Bar – Any pictures of cars with this option? Is this available in the US?

Carbon Fiber For Engine Compartment – Does this add performance or is this a purely aesthetic option? Pictures of a car with and a car without this option would be appreciated.

Challenge Stradale Wheel Rims - I have read that these are an unbelievably great deal for the price, as they offer lighter, stronger rims. Are the dimensions (backspace, offset, width/height, etc) of the rims the same? Do they utilize the same tires? How much lighter are the CS rims when compared to the standards?

Ball-Polished Standard Wheel Rims – Is this option available with the CS rims?

Color Upon Request For Upper Dashboard – Could someone highlight the part(s) of the car that would be this color for me in a picture?

Color Upon Request For Steering Wheel – Again, what parts would become my specified color? All of it? Or just the airbag cover? Or just the lower rim? How do I get Carbon on the rim if I want it?

Leather Upholstery for Rear Bench wall – Again, what part of the car is this? Any pictures of a car with and a car without this option?

Leather Upholstered Rear Bench Complimentary To Carbon Fiber Lower Zone – Can you have this option without the other? Any pictures of what this looks like? Is this just the option you would pick instead of the one above if you have selected the Carbon Lower Zone?

Special Stitching Color Upon Request – What’s the difference between this stitch and the standard one? Any pictures?

Electronically Operated Seats – I assume this is only with the standard seats and not available with the racing seats. Does this raise the seating position of the seat at all? Do any tall people here (I’m 6’4”) have a problem with the seating position of ANY of the seat options? (Standard seats, standard seats with power, racing seats) Is there a difference in seating position between ANY of these choices?

‘Daytona’ Style Seat Trim – Is this available on the Racing seats? Or only on the standards? Does it cost extra for different-color inserts?

Dedication Plate in Silver – What is this? Any Pictures?

Carbon Fiber for Driving Zone - Could someone highlight the part(s) of the car that would be changed from aluminum to CF for me in a picture?

Carbon Fiber for Lower Cabin Zone – same as one above, need an idea of what this changes.

Space Saver Wheel Kit – Nobody seems to know what this does….

2 Piece suitcase set/3 Piece luggage set – Any pictures/comments from people who have chosen this option?

Pre-wiring Kit for Battery Charger – What is this? What is its purpose? Do Ferrari batteries not last long or what?

Run-Flat Tires – I would assume this would degrade performance slightly… Could some 1 tell me the Brand/type of tire that this option gives you? What about the standard tires, Pirelli P-Zero Rosso? Are the Tire Sizes different? This option also includes the Tire Pressure Monitoring System according to this: http://www.ferrari.co.uk/pdf/Ferrari%20Price%20List%202005.pdf

Tire Pressure Monitoring System – This is listed as a separate option… does that make it available with the standard tires?

Are there any options now available that are not on this list?

If so, what are they and what do they do?

I know this is a lot of ‘clarification’ I’m asking for, and any help from this fine community would be appreciated. I have also used the search function… and haven’t really found any results, and that is why I made this post.
Thx in advance for anyone willing to help.

I can help with some but not all of your questions.

These are not available in the U.S.

They are lighter, but I don't know how much. They are exactly the same size and offset as the standard wheel, and take the same tire size.

    Standard wheel only, I believe.

Standard and Daytona seats only, the sport seats are manual adjustment only. The electric seats are height adjustable, although I have heard people say for max headroom go with standard manual-operated seats.
Same stitch, different color as specified by you.
Run-flats are somewhat lower max performance than the other choices. The run flats are Goodyears, if you go with conventional tires you can specify Pirelli PZero Rosso, Michelin Pilot Sport, or Bridgestone RE050 tires, there is much debate about which is superior. They are probably all at least very good. They are all the same size.

Ferraris tend to sit in the garage for long periods, and the OE batteries are perhaps not quite as robust as others. If you drive the car at least once a week or so, you won't have any problems.

Lots of topics I don't have answers for, I'm sure others will chime in.

    I'll answer what I can.....

A dealer should estimate the size required on racing seats. Another consideration is to get regular seats and then buy aftermarket racing seats. May be cheaper and will help resale if that should come.

Harness and rollbar not available in US market.

Carbon fiber engine compartment cosmetic only. The medallion is cool but not worth 9K IMO.

The dimensions are the same for challenge wheels. Don't know about polishing.

The cosmetic stuff you can probaly learn from your dealer if they have a car in stock.

The daytona seats are built a little different from standards as well as the fancier inserts, etc. I think they are great. I believe you can get power option with racing seats. However, the racing seats pictured in the sales brochure have manual adjustments.

The space saver kit is a spare tire. The problem is the wheels on the car won't fit in the space, so if you change out on the road, you have to hide your wheel and come back. They come with a compressor and spare in a can standard.

The prewiring is for a battery tender. My dealer installed one free at delivery. The factory one is pricey.

My dealer advised against the tire pressure monitoring saying the ones in the 575 have been a pain to use and problematic. I think there will be better aftermarket ones.
