There has been some discussion on whether the front scoops look better painted or unpainted. This picture of the 430 spider shows them painted. I'm wondering if Ferrari has decided to paint the front scoops in all the 430s?

Interesting observation. Since I have not seen the car in person it is difficult to determine whether painting the front scoops is better. I also wonder if the insert is one piece thus creating some matching issues regarding the exterior paint.

Clearly the issue for Ferrari is an obvious one and if they opt not to do it especially with the models they used to unveil the car to the media then they must think it is better without the painted inserts.

I think it looks like the same silvery material on all the other 430s

I read somewhere, that the inserts can be delivered in carbon (carbon exterior?). Perhaps this is it?
