    Hello everyone

After a failed attempt to buy a 2006 Spider late last year, I am back in the game. I am looking at a black on tan F430 coupe with 2200 miles, F1, warranty till 2/10, after market wheels (original wheels also included in the sale), some options (CD changer, upholstered roof, some CF). CarFax is clean, shows as a one owner but registered to the first owner at 1130 miles and I confirmed with the seller it is a two owner (could it be a demo?). There are some service records as well which I will ask for only if I decide to make the trip down.

What do you guys think it's worth? Won't post the asking price yet so the results are not skewed :) Also, should I do a PPI or just because it's under warranty I should be safe?

    Thanks,
    Sergio

You might have more luck in the 360/430 section. Those guys might find this thread faster over there and get you some info quicker. Might I suggest you ask a moderator to move it? :)

Sorry I don't have any specific helpful knowledge on the car, but good luck.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Moved the model specific thread from the "not model specific" forum to the appropriate model specific forum.

I presume electric daytona's and shields. I'd suggest $130k although I suspect the seller is asking closer to $160k-$170k as they are mostly delusional at this point :)

There are LOTS of pricing threads and a calculator if you search.

Wow, that low? Yeah, I don't think they'll take anywhere near that... The calculator come up higher as well, unfortunately

I actually think a fair price would be around 145-150K for an 06 coupe with low miles like that if loaded. I also agree that there are many 430's out there with WAY high asking prices.

FYI DMaury that's more than I just paid for an 06 spider with lots of options; hence my rather lower suggestion. Like I say, 9/10 the seller will tell you to go to heck (and will still be trying to sell the car 6 months from now) occasionally you'll get someone who realizes what's going on and adjusts accordingly. I probably got pretty lucky with my deal, but I suspect a few months from now I'll have overpaid (but I got a few months of driving!!)

Well then, I'd like to revise my estimate down a bit then. ;)

I think 130 or so is a good starting point for you in negotiations but I doubt you will get it for that price.

If you REALLY like this particular car it will be worth a few thousand extra to get exactly what you want.

Sergio- The warranty has expired. Make sure you negotiate a year's extension if you are serious about the car. That year is actually some serious money, so take that into consideration.

I don't think delusional is covers all the so called "Sellers". They don't need to sell. Or they can't sell at these ridiculously higher numbers because of residual or principal payoffs..or whatever.

If they can and need and desire to sell, they will find smart Buyers at the lower numbers you suggest.

    The depreciation clock ticks on...
